View allGold by currency
Compare gold and silver references in the same currency, with explicit units and source timestamps. Precious metals use the troy ounce, which contains exactly 31.1034768 grams. The UK market desk highlights pound values, 9ct and 18ct jewellery, Sovereigns and Britannias; the US desk uses dollar references and fine content for Eagles and other bullion. Enter weight and fineness to estimate metal content, then use an actual dealer bid or ask for resale or purchase costs. Daily reference FX is separate from an executable conversion rate. Premiums, fabrication, fees and taxes can change the final invoice. The gold/silver ratio describes relative prices and is not a trading signal.
